From a Hard Hat to a Safety Net: RACETEC Showcases OpenHarmony-Powered Intelligent Safety Products at PT Expo China 2026
From September 22 to 24, the 34th China International Information and Communication Exhibition (PT Expo China) — organized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) — was held at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. Themed "Stronger Networks, Thriving Computing · Converged Intelligence, Flourishing Ecosystems," this year's expo focused on the deep integration of information and communication technologies with artificial intelligence. RACETEC showcased its OpenHarmony-powered smart safety product matrix at Booth C223, presenting its latest technological achievements and on-the-ground practices in workplace safety scenarios such as energy and chemicals, electric power, and dangerous goods transport.

On-Site Highlights | Three Products Draw a Crowd at Booth C223
During the expo, RACETEC highlighted three products: the OpenHarmony smart hard hats RACE-RUISHI X1 and RACE-RUIDUN S1, and the Dangerous Goods Road Transport Traffic Safety Supervision and Service Platform. Numerous attendees from the energy, chemical, and transportation sectors stopped by to experience the products and engage in in-depth discussions, covering practical topics such as personnel positioning, violation recognition, and emergency response linkage in high-risk operations.
On the opening day, the booth received approximately 300 visitors in total. Among them, business leaders from the China National Administration of Coal Geology (CNACG) visited the booth, focusing on the deployment of features such as real-time positioning, SOS distress calls, and operation track playback.

Tech Unboxing | OpenHarmony Rebuilds the Work Safety Management and Control System
Anchored in the expo's core proposition of "technology for people," the organizers, together with Communications Weekly, jointly launched the "Tech Unboxing" side-stage roadshow. Suo Yawei, solutions expert at RACETEC, was invited to deliver a presentation titled "OpenHarmony Accelerates the Digital Transformation of Production Industry Safety Management," systematically dissecting the pain points of safety management and control in production industries and introducing RACETEC's self-developed digital transformation solution for production industry safety management.

In his speech, Suo Yawei pointed out that safety management in high-risk industries such as mining, chemicals, and electric power has long relied on manual inspection and post-incident tracing, leaving blind spots in personnel positioning and violation behaviors; terminals from different vendors follow inconsistent access standards, platform integration requires device-by-device adaptation, and data silos are prominent. "Visible risks are watched by people; invisible risks are left to luck" — that is the crux of the traditional model.
To address these pain points, RACETEC has built an end-edge-cloud integrated work safety management and control architecture based on OpenHarmony, centered on a "Five Ones" system:
One Cloud — a unified data foundation
One Network — converging wired and wireless connectivity
One Map — GIS-enabled visualization
One Platform — an integrated management, dispatch, and intelligent decision-making hub
One Set of Standards — unified data interfaces and management specifications
This system achieves unified technical standards across the entire chain — from underlying chips and terminal devices to the edge and the cloud — resolving the fragmentation of traditional IoT, building a complete, efficient, and collaborative intelligent safety management and control ecosystem, and advancing safety management from "post-incident handling" to "pre-incident prevention."
Product Spotlights | From Individual Protection to Full-Process Supervision
RACE-RUISHI X1 | Industrial-Grade AI Full-Perception Safety Terminal
Designed for high-risk industries such as mining, chemicals, electric power, and construction, the RACE-RUISHI X1 is built on the autonomous and controllable OpenHarmony technology foundation, integrating core capabilities including an AI voice assistant, environmental perception with proactive warning, real-time vital sign monitoring, HD video, and remote collaboration. The worker's location, operational behavior, and environmental status are perceived in real time with intelligent early warning, forming a proactive safety defense line spanning the full chain of "person, environment, behavior, and command."

RACE-RUIDUN S1 | Making Routine Management Actions Happen Automatically
It features real-time positioning with track playback, frictionless smart attendance, electronic fence (geofencing) alerts, one-tap SOS distress calls, safety monitoring, and voice intercom. Management actions that previously relied on manual inspection — personnel on-duty attendance, zone crossing, emergency assistance — are now automatically perceived and recorded by the device, making safety management evidenced and traceable.

Dangerous Goods Road Transport Traffic Safety Supervision and Service Platform | Managing Risks on the Road
Through data access from vehicle-mounted terminals, the platform aggregates and fuses status data on "people, vehicles, cargo, and environment," providing end-to-end visibility, proactive warning, data traceability, and multi-terminal collaboration. It serves dangerous goods transport, chemical park transfers, and government supervision — moving supervision from "post-incident investigation" to "controllable throughout the process."

Strategic Resolve | OpenHarmony as the Bedrock, AI as the Soul, Cybersecurity as the Shield
From on-site protection for frontline workers to real-time monitoring of dangerous goods transport vehicles, every link of workplace safety is being redefined by technology.
Grounded in the real-world needs of production industry safety management, RACETEC adheres to its business strategy of "OpenHarmony as the bedrock, AI as the soul, cybersecurity as the shield." With an end-edge-cloud integrated technology foundation connecting hardware, platforms, and industry scenarios, the company works with industry chain partners to drive the large-scale deployment of homegrown safety management and control solutions across manufacturing, transportation, energy and chemicals, and other sectors — safeguarding the digital-intelligence transformation of key industries.
