From October 22 to 24, the 2026 CEIC Consumer Electronics Innovation Conference, themed "Love Innovation, Smart Without Limits," was held at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center (Futian). Co-hosted by the Hetao "6+1" International Industry and Standardization Organizations and the International Center for Economic and Technical Cooperation of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the event brought together over 1,000 representatives from industry, academia, and international organizations, and more than 300 leading companies. Across six tracks — smart terminals, smart mobility, smart living, innovative applications, infrastructure, and ecosystem collaboration — it showcased the latest technology and real-world deployments shaping consumer electronics.

As a council member of the Global Intelligent IoT Consortium (GIIC), a member of the International NearLink Alliance, and a core initiator of GIIC's Urban IoT Perception Technology Committee, RACETEC was invited to attend. The company participated throughout the alliance's "OpenHarmony + IoT" themed exhibition zone and in parallel forums on eSIM and urban IoT perception, presenting its integrated OpenHarmony–AI innovations and its "OpenHarmony + AI + Security" capability portfolio.

In Step with the Ecosystem: Building Together as a Council Member

On October 23, GIIC held its fourth general assembly and the eighth meeting of its first board of directors in Shenzhen. RACETEC CTO Huang Shun attended as the company's council representative. Through its council membership, RACETEC is deeply involved in standards development and industry collaboration across the OpenHarmony ecosystem, continuously building ecosystem resources and first-mover advantages. Looking ahead, RACETEC aims to become the most influential enabling enterprise in the OpenHarmony ecosystem, joining alliance partners to co-create a secure, intelligent future of the Internet of Everything.

Standards Leadership: Deep Participation in the NearLink Conference Series

As a member of the International NearLink Alliance, RACETEC CTO Huang Shun was invited to the 2026 NearLink Industry Summit. The summit released the NearLink 3.0 standard, launched a NearLink connectivity suite for AI agents and embodied-intelligence devices, and unveiled cross-ecosystem integration results between NearLink and OpenHarmony.

RACETEC was also invited to the NearLink Industry Promotion Group meeting and the NearLink "Embodied Intelligence" SIG meeting. The promotion group focused on commercial rollout and ecosystem collaboration, discussing innovative use cases, industry adoption, and key verticals; the embodied-intelligence SIG addressed application requirements and solutions for NearLink's short-range communications in embodied intelligence.

Co-Creation: Parallel Progress on eSIM and Urban IoT Perception

As a member of the eSIM IoT Technical Committee, RACETEC joined the AI Era eSIM Innovation Forum — themed "Technical Pathways and Ecosystem Co-Building for AI and eSIM Integration" — and received the "eSIM Industry Innovation Practice Member Unit" award.

As one of the core initiators of GIIC's Urban IoT Perception Technology Committee, RACETEC attended the committee's first "Perception · Connection · Smart Governance" Urban IoT Perception Innovation and Development Forum. The forum released urban IoT perception standards and the Urban Perception Case Collection; RACETEC's solution, "Construction and Application of an OpenHarmony-Powered Full-View Highway Traffic Event Perception System," was selected for the "Mobility" case collection.

Real-World Deployment: From Personal Protection to Full-Process Supervision

During the conference, RACETEC showcased three products: the RACE Vision X1 and RACE Shield S1 smart hard hats, and the Dangerous Goods Road Transport Traffic Safety Supervision and Service Platform.

Built on a self-controlled OpenHarmony foundation, the smart hard hats integrate real-time positioning, proactive warnings, and other core capabilities for mining, chemical, and power scenarios — sensing workers' location, operational behavior, and environmental conditions in real time with intelligent alerts. The dangerous goods transport platform delivers full-process, real-time monitoring of "people, vehicles, cargo, and environment," accurately predicting transport risks and closing the loop on response — moving dangerous goods transport from reactive handling to proactive safety.

Grounded in Reality: An Ecosystem Strategy That Delivers

Every step RACETEC took at CEIC 2026 added ecosystem weight to its business strategy of "Built on OpenHarmonyOS · Driven by AI · Guarded by Safety." Ongoing participation in standards co-building, validated deployments, and case endorsements all point to the same goal — putting self-controlled technology to work in real business scenarios across industry, transportation, energy, and manufacturing.
